Pungent Gravy Flank Steak
Description
Mom, trying to say something complimentary, said the gravy was very "pungent." Didn’t sound good, even though this is one of my most asked for recipes.
Ingredients
2 pounds flank steak
3/4 cup salad oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons honey
2 Tablespoons vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 green onion
Directions
Combine all but steak in blender. Pour over steak and marinate for 8 hours or overnight. Barbecue 10 minutes on each side.
Notes
We absolutely love this marinade. We usually cook the marinade in a sauce pan while grilling the meat and serve with the flank steak.
